Ballroom Genie is a web-based monthly subscription video streaming service created by Chris and Joanne, two web designers, from Dance Futures, Ltd in Cambridge, UK.

With a monthly subscription, you can view on your laptop or smartphone,  a "motion capture" video library of over 250 of the most common steps utilized in International Standard: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Viennese Waltz.

The "motion capture" videos are unlike normal teaching DVD videos in that the subscriber can manipulate the video step shown with the following controls:
1) Viewpoint: 9 views (BLOD, BDW, C, DC, LOD DW, W, BDC, or Top)
2) Partner:  Man only, Woman only, or Both
3) Tempo:  1x, or x1/4 speed

Additionally, there are comments for each step, describing:
1) Timing
2) Choreography:
a) Suggested preceding steps
b) Suggested following steps
c)  Suggested related steps
